How to Reduce PST File Size?

About Outlook PST: MS Outlook is a complete Outlook package, which includes Outlook emails, contacts, alerts, to-do-list etc. There is Outlook Personal Folders file. In Outlook, data is stored in files with .PST extension. Outlook can store more than one PST files. Outlook version 2000 and 2002 store PST with ANSI format, which had 2 GB maximum file size limit. Later Outlook versions store PST with UNICODE format that has 20 GB maximum file size limit.   1. First, click “Data File Management” on the file menu
  2. Now, click the data file that you wish to compact
  3. Then, click on “Settings”
  4. Click “Compact” now
