Know How to Convert Outlook PST to EML, PDF, MSG and VCF Format

Step 1

Download and Install Software at your machine

Launch PST Converter from the installation region or navigate to Start » All Programs » PST Converter » PST Converter to initialize software.

Now add Outlook PST file by clicking on "Add File" button.

A pop up window open at your screen click on Browse button and select the PST file from the desktop.

Select PST file from folder and click on Open to open selected file.

After adding Outlook PST file, software will display its location. If PST file is corrupted highly, then check Advance Scan option, and click on Add File button.

Now the given screen appears while scanning PST file, where you will see the details like: scanned file name, creation date and its size in KB.

After completion of Outlook PST file scanning, software shows the given screen

Software loads complete PST file and create a preview of email in it. User can view loaded email in distinct ways like Hex View, Normal Mail View, Message Header View, Properties View, Email Hop View, MIME View, RTF View, Hierarchical and Attachments View.

To Export selected email of Outlook database select the emails, right click on it and then go to the Export option. Now an export window opens with multiple options at front of your screen as shown in the screenshot.

Select file type to export selected item i.e. EML, PDF, MSG or vCard. Also select favored Naming Convention to save file and Browse destination location. After that click on "Export" option to begin the export process.

A popup window opens at your screen that notify successful completion message of export process.

To Export complete data of PST file with their folder structure click on Export button on menu bar.

Software provides multiple Options to Export:

Select Folder: Select folders that you want to export
Export As: Select file type accordingly (MSG, EML, PDF & vCard)
Mail Filter: Export Outlook emails of specific date range
Naming Convention: Save file with preferred naming option
Browse Destination: Select location for saving exported files

Now click on Export button to begin the process.

As export process started following window appears showing complete process.

An Export report will be created after completion of process that shows path of selected PST file and its saving location. Click on Save button to keep report for coming reference.

Export Report is saved in CSV file format. View location where export report is saved.
